Rocky Mountain Champions
The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has been known as the Colorado Football Conf. (1890-1892), Colorado Intercollegiate Athletic Conf. (1893-1908), and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conf. (1909- ). The RMAC ceased to be a major college conference following the 1937-38 academic year. Brigham Young, Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Utah, Utah State, and Wyoming left to form the Mountain States Conference. The conference continues today as a Division 2 conference.
