Western Kentucky 13, Chattanooga 10

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Backup quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Craig Burt Jr. with 1:21 to play and Western Kentucky beat FCS-member Chattanooga 13-10 on Saturday.

Brayden Narveson kicked a pair of 32-yard field goals for Western Kentucky (2-4).

Pigrome came on for starter Kevaris Thomas late in the fourth quarter and finished 4-of-8 passing for 73 yards. Thomas completed 12 of 17 for 59 yards. He lost a fumble that was recovered by UTC's Ty Boeck at the Mocs' 20 with 23 seconds left in the first half and Western Kentucky trailing 7-3.

UTC will compete for the Southern Conference Championship with an eight-game schedule in the spring of 2021

Bryce Nunnelley, who finished with 24 yards receiving, had three receptions to move past Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and Jimmy Grier into seventh on Chattanooga's career list with 146.

The teams combined for just 479 total yards, including 222 passing.
