"LOUISVILLE SLUGGER'S" NATIONAL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

RHP Ross Stripling, Texas A&M: Stripling threw the 11th no-hitter in Texas A&M history during a 1-0 win over San Diego State. He only allowed one walk while striking out seven during his 106-pitch outing. On the season, Stripling is 9-2 with a 2.36 ERA and has fanned 97 batters over 103 innings.

RHP Preston Olson, Utah Valley: Olson set a school record with 16 strikeouts over eight innings during a 10-0 win against New York Institute of Technology. Olson only allowed two hits and walked two.

DH Nick Backlund, Mercer: Backlund belted four home runs over five games last week with eight RBI. He also scored six runs as he went 5-for-16 at the plate. On the season, Backlund is hitting .379 with 16 homers, 16 doubles and 52 RBI.
