Former Air Force safety Scott Thomas and former Colorado State defensive back Greg Myers have been named to the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2012, announced today by The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. The Mountain West is one of three leagues (Big 12, Pac-12) with multiple teams represented in the hall's 2012 class.

Scott Thomas, a 1986 graduate of the Air Force Academy and former All-American safety, has been elected into the College Football Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2012. Thomas is the fourth former Falcon to be elected to the HOF, players Brock Strom (1985) and Chad Hennings (2006) and former coach Fisher DeBerry (2011).

Two MW Football Student-Athletes on 2012 Lott Trophy Watch List

Boise State senior linebacker J.C. Percy and Wyoming junior safety Luke Ruff have been named to the watch list for the 2012 Lott Trophy, which was released on Monday. The Mountain West is one of six leagues (ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-12, SEC) with multiple student-athletes named to the 42-person watch list.
