A prime-time kickoff for the Eighth Annual Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game, three national exposures on the opening weekend of the 2012 season, and a minimum of 13 nationally televised exposures (ABC, NBC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU) highlights the early season TV and Game Time schedule announced Thursday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The White team scored 28 second half points en route to a 31-7 win in Georgia Tech's spring football game Friday. Maryland and NC State took the field on Saturday. The defense defeated the offense, 67-53, in the Terrapins' spring football game, while the Black team topped the White team, 32-7, in the fourth annual Kay Yow Spring Game.

The 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference football schedule released today by Commissioner John Swofford is a slate which sees conference teams playing 10 games against opponents that are projected by ESPN.com to be in the nation's preseason Top 25, and 21 games against teams which participated in 2011 bowl games.
