Jarren Williams commits to Miami

4 star quarterback Jarren Williams has committed to Miami.

The 6-2 Williams, from Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville GA, had originally committed to Kentucky but later retracted on Oct. 28. He chose Miami over Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, and others.

Williams is the No. 7 dual-threat quarterback in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 113 player overall and 15th-best player from the state of Georgia.

Williams, who is expected to enroll early for the upcoming spring semester, completed 61 percent of passes his senior season for 3,015 yards, 28 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also ran for 554 yards and another 10 touchdowns.
