Tyler Van Dyke commits to Miami

4 star quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has committed to Miami.

The 6-4, 212 pound Van Dyke, from the Suffield Academy in Connecticut, chose Miami over 20 offers including California, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Syracuse, and others.

He is rated as the No. 10 pro-style quarterback in the country and the No. 268 player overall.

Van Dyke threw for 1,899 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions in nine games in 2018, completing 57.1 percent of his passes. He also ran for 105 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries, and served as Suffield's primary punter.

Van Dyke also plays baseball at Suffield Academy.
