John Rhys Plumlee commits to Mississippi

4 star quarterback John Rhys Plumlee has flipped his commitment from Georgia to Mississippi.

Plumlee, a two sport star from Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg MS, initially pledged to Georgia last summer.

Plumlee is rated the No. 13 dual threat quarterback in the 2019 class. He also plays baseball.

Plumlee accounted for 4,278 total yards and 52 touchdowns last season. He led Oak Grove to the MHSAA 6A title game, where Plumlee threw four touchdowns and 348 yards in a four-point loss.
