Jordan Miner commits to Penn State

4 star cornerback Jordan Miner has committed to Penn State.

The 6-1, 177 pound Miner, from Tampa FL Wiregrass Ranch High School, chose Penn State over Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, and others.

Miner is rated by Scout as the No. 34 cornerback in the Class of 2018. He is the No. 29 player at his position in the 247Sports' Composite ranking.

Miner tallied 38 tackles, 12 pass breakups, 5 total touchdowns and 3 interceptions in 10 games as a junior. He averaged 33.4 yards per kickoff return and opponents often avoided sending the ball toward his direction on special teams.

Miner, who began collecting scholarship offers as a sophomore, approached his decision with nearly 30 FBS options. He whittled that list to 11 teams in April, and narrowed things even further following his junior season.
