5 star defensive end Myles Murphy has committed to Clemson.

The 6-5, 260 pound Murphy, from Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs GA, chose Clemson over 16 offers including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and others.

He is ranked No. 8 overall in the class of 2020, the second-best strong-side defensive end in his class and the top overall prospect in Georgia.

Murphy had 55 tackles and five sacks in 2018. Hillgrove allowed just 15.2 points per game and went 12-1.
