Brandon Johns commits to Michigan

4 star power forward Brandon Johns has committed to Michigan.

The 6-8, 206 pound Johns, from East Lansing MI, chose the Wolverines over Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Texas, and others.

Johns is rated the nation's No. 40 recruit by ESPN, he is ranked as the No. 2 power forward in the state of Michigan, No. 21 power forward in the nation and No. 100 overall recruit in the 2018 class by Scout. He ranks as the No. 54 player nationally, on the 247sports' composite list. He's the No. 18-ranked power forward and the top-rated prospect in the state of Michigan.

The AP's Class A player of the year last season, Johns led East Lansing to a 24-1 record. Johns averaged 20.6 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.2 blocks while surpassing 1,000 career points as a junior for East Lansing. He has helped the Trojans to a 47-2 mark the last two seasons.
