John Humphreys commits to Stanford

4 star wide receiver John Humphreys has committed to Stanford.

The 6-5, 205 pound Humphreys, from Corona Del Mar High School in Newport Beach CA, chose Stanford over USC.

Humphreys is rated the No. 125 prospect in the country and the No. 76 wide reeiver.

Last season he caught 103 passes for 1,783 yards and 28 touchdowns. He's also a talented safety and averaged 15 points and six boards a game for the CDM's hoops team.

Humphreys has been selected for the Polynesian Bowl.

His mother Wendy was an All-American setter on the volleyball team and dad Brad was an All-Pac-10 defensive back on the football team. Humphrey's older sister Kelsey also played volleyball at Stanford.
