Demariyon Houston commits to Texas

4 star wide receiver Demariyon Houston has committed to Texas.

The 6 foot, 165 pound Houston, from Millwood High School in Oklahoma City OK, chose Texas over Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Texas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon, SMU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, and Tulsa.

Houston is ranked as the No. 178 player nationally, the No. 29 wide receiver, and the No. 2 prospect in Oklahoma.

Houston battled injuries as a junior, but still managed to record 20 catches for 534 yards and seven touchdowns, an average of 26.7 yards per catch and a touchdown for every 2.9 catches.

He has been clocked at 10.71 in the 100-meter dash.
