Georgia State baseball coach Greg Frady out

Georgia State Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb announced on Friday that the contract of head baseball coach Greg Frady will not be renewed.

Georgia State recently finished the 2018-19 season with a 15-41 mark, failing to qualify for the Sun Belt Conference tournament.

In 13 years with the Panthers, Frady compiled a record of 370-365-1.

"Greg has meant a great deal to our baseball team and I truly have a lot of respect for him," Cobb said. "However, at this time we feel a change is necessary. I would like to thank Greg for everything he has done for our program over the last 13 years and wish him all the best of luck in the future."

A national search for Frady's replacement will begin immediately.
