Kyle Ford commits to USC

5 star wide receiver Kyle Ford has committed to USC.

The 6-2, 212-pound Ford, from Lutheran High School in Orange CA, chose USC over Colorado, Michigan, Oregon, and Washington.

Ford is rated the No. 29 overall prospect, the No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 3 recruit in California.

Ford shined at The Opening Finals in Texas over the summer. He had 51 catches over the course of the weekend at the Opening. The second-highest total was 30 catches. He tied for the most touchdowns with nine. Ford accounted for 37 percent of his team's completions.

Ford wasn't able to complete his senior season due to a season-ending knee injury. In just five games of action, Ford recorded 29 receptions for 456 yards and seven TDs. As a junior, he recorded 91 receptions for 1,468 yards and 13 TDs.
