Darius Bazley commits to Syracuse

4 star 2018 recruit Darius Bazley has committed to Syracuse.

The 6-9, 200 pound Bazley, from Sharonville OH, originally attended Finneytown then transferred to Cincinnati Princeton HS in late July 2016.

Bazley chose Syracuse over Florida, Georgetown, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Ohio State, Purdue, Southern Cal, Virginia Tech, Xavier, and others. Originally a Buckeye commit, Bazley de-committed from Ohio State in April.

Bazley is Ohio's No. 1 player, and ranked the nation's No. 32 best player overall by ESPN. Bazley is rated the nation's No. 42 player overall by Scout and the No. 1 small forward in the Midwest.

Bazley attended the National Basketball Players Association Top 100 camp in June and was named to the all-star team.

Bazley helped lead the Vikings to a Division I sectional runner-up finish in March.
