Anthony Edwards commits to Georgia

5 star shooting guard Anthony Edwards has committed to Georgia.

The 6-5, 215 pound Edwards, from Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, chose Georgia over Duke, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State and UCLA.

Edwards is rated the No. 2 overall player, No. 1 shooting guard and No. 1 player from Georgia.

Edwards is averaging 26.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals during his senior season while shooting 38-percent from three. Edwards was recently selected as a McDonald¹s All-American.

Edwards also competes for the Atlanta Xpress on the Under Armour circuit. has Edwards as the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
