#19 St. Bonaventure 52, Fordham 45

Jessica Jenkins scored 17 points as No.19 St. Bonaventure women rallied to beat Fordham 52-45 on Wednesday night.

The Bonnies (26-2, 13-0 Atlantic 10) extended their program-record winning streak to 15 games and earned their seventh consecutive victory over the Rams. Megan Van Tatenhove added 14 for the Bonnies who earned St. Bonaventure's first Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season team championship in any sport.

St. Bonaventure entered the second half trailing 27-23 but cut that deficit to 37-36 with 7:57 remaining behind a Van Tatenhove layup. The Bonnies wouldn't look back, holding Fordham (11-17, 2-11) to just eight points over the final 8 minutes.

Charlotte Stoddart scored 14 for the Rams who have lost six straight games. St. Bonaventure shot 43 percent (18 of 42) from the field, improving to 20-0 when shooting above 40 percent.

The Rams outrebounded St. Bonaventure 36-21 but committed 17 turnovers.
