(6) Texas Tech 39, (1) Texas 33
Colt McCoy spearheaded a huge Texas comeback, but Texas Tech's Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree made the final statement in the most thrilling Big 12 finish this year, and the Red Raiders dethroned the top-ranked team in the process. Harrell connected with Crabtree on a 28-yard touchdown pass with one second remaining, giving the sixth-ranked Red Raiders a 39-33 win over No.1 Texas, sparking a wild scene. Harrell connected on 36-of-53 passes for 474 yards with a pair of scores, while Edward Britton caught seven passes for 139 yards. Crabtree had 10 receptions for 127 yards for the Red Raiders (9-0, 5-0 Big 12), who secured their landmark 500th win in school history. McCoy completed 20-of-34 passes for 294 yards with a pair of TDs and was picked off once, but Texas (8-1, 4-1) is sure to be knocked from its perch. Malcolm Williams had four receptions for 182 yards and two scores for Texas. Despite the loss, McCoy became Texas' all-time leading passer. He has 3,597 yards this season, passing Major Applewhite's (2,257) single-year mark. McCoy also has 8,452 yards for his career, topping the mark Applewhite (8,353) had during his time with the Longhorns.

(2) Alabama 35, Arkansas State 0
Mark Ingram ran for 113 yards and two touchdowns, leading second-ranked Alabama to a 35-0 rout of Arkansas State at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Glen Coffee and Roy Upchurch also scored rushing touchdowns for Alabama (9-0), which will return to conference action next week with a huge SEC West showdown at LSU. The Crimson Tide racked up 205 rushing yards, 56 for Coffee and 31 for Upchurch, and 357 total yards, while holding Arkansas State to just 158 yards of offense. Reggie Arnold ran for 72 yards on 15 carries for Arkansas State (4-4), which has lost two in a row. Corey Leonard completed just 8-of-17 passes for 67 yards with an interception in defeat.

#3 Penn State, idle

(4) Oklahoma 62, Nebraska 28
Heisman hopeful Sam Bradford threw five touchdown passes, as the fourth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners rolled over the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 62-28. Bradford was 19-of-27 for 311 yards with one interception for Oklahoma (8-1, 4-1 Big 12), which has won three straight games since a 45-35 setback to Texas. Quentin Chaney had five receptions for 128 yards and a score, while Jermaine Gresham caught two touchdown passes. Joe Ganz completed 14-of-26 passes for 206 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Cornhuskers (5-4, 2-3), who saw their two-game win streak halted. Roy Helu Jr. rushed for 157 yards and a score on 16 carries.

(5) Florida 49, (8) Georgia 10
Tim Tebow ran for three touchdowns and threw a pair of scoring passes, as fifth-ranked Florida rolled to a 49-10 rout of No. 8 Georgia and took control of the SEC East while also remaining alive in the national championship picture. Tebow completed 10-of-13 passes for 154 yards and ran for 39 yards for the Gators (7-1, 5-1 SEC), who avenged last year's 42-30 setback at the Cocktail Party in demonstrative fashion. There were no mass celebrations for Georgia this year. The Bulldogs sent their whole team to celebrate the first touchdown in last year's contest, but the Gators took control of this one early and dominated throughout. Georgia (7-2, 4-2) didn't reach the end zone until late in the contest and lost for the 16th time in the last 19 meetings. The Bulldogs haven't won consecutive games in the series since capturing three in a row from 1987-89. Florida has won four in a row by an average of 39.5 points since a 31-30 setback against Ole Miss and can earn a berth in the SEC Championship Game with a victory next week at Vanderbilt. Georgia, which was coming off a 52-38 rout at LSU last week and had won three in a row following a deflating 41-30 home loss to Alabama, would need to win its last two conference games and have Florida lose twice to reach the SEC title game.

(7) Southern California 56, Washington 0
Mark Sanchez threw two touchdowns to Patrick Turner, and C.J. Gable had two rushing scores as the seventh-ranked USC Trojans notched a 56-0 blowout of the Washington Huskies at the Coliseum. Sanchez threw for 167 yards on 15-of-19 passing and scored a rushing TD, while Turner had six receptions for 100 yards. Gable gained 108 yards on 10 carries for USC (7-1, 5-1 Pac-10), which survived a dogfight last Saturday with Pac 10-rival Arizona, 17-10. The Trojans continue their quest for an unprecedented seventh consecutive Pac-10 title next Saturday with a home date against the Cal Bears. USC is now riding a five-game winning streak and moved ahead of Oregon atop the league standings with Saturday's victory, coupled with the 23rd-ranked Ducks' loss to Cal earlier Saturday. Ronnie Fouch was 14-of-33 for 113 yards and three interceptions for the Huskies (0-8, 0-5), whose winless season thus far has prompted a change at the top, as head coach Tyrone Willingham announced earlier in the week he is stepping down at the end of the season.

(9) Oklahoma State 59, Iowa State 17
Zac Robinson threw for a season-high 395 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, leading the ninth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 59-17 thrashing of the Iowa State Cyclones at Lewis Stadium. Robinson had never thrown for more than three touchdowns in a game prior to Saturday for the Cowboys (8-1, 4-1 Big 12), and the dual-threat also added 66 yards on the ground while completing 18-of-27 passes. His favorite target, Dez Bryant, caught a career-high four touchdown passes, while gaining 171 total yards through the air. Kendall Hunter ran for 104 yards and a score on 13 carries, and Jeremy Broadway caught a school-record 95-yard touchdown pass for Oklahoma State, which was coming off a 28-24 loss to top-ranked Texas last weekend. Austen Arnaud threw for 240 yards on 20- of-35 passing with two interceptions, and Darius Darks caught seven passes for 113 yards for the Cyclones (2-7, 0-5), who remain the only winless team in Big 12 conference play. Alexander Robinson ran for 68 yards and a score and caught two passes for 36 yards, and Sedrick Johnson found the end zone once for Iowa State. The one bright spot for the Cyclones was Leonard Johnson, who set an NCAA record for return yards in a game with 319.

(10) Utah 13, New Mexico 10
Brian Johnson threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Brent Casteel in the third quarter, as 10th-ranked Utah remained unbeaten with a tight 13-10 win over New Mexico in Mountain West Conference action. Louie Sakoda hit a pair of field goals for the Utes (9-0, 5-0 MWC), who are back in the top-10 for the first time since 2004 and remain in the Bowl Championship Series hunt. Johnson completed 23-of-32 passes for 195 yards and was picked off once, while Matt Asiata gained 80 yards on 12 carries. Brad Gruner connected on 16-of-25 passes for 170 yards for the Lobos (4-6, 2-4), losers of their last two games. He also rushed for 57 yards, and Rodney Ferguson scored New Mexico's lone touchdown, a 10-yard run at the end of the third quarter.

(11) Boise State 49, New Mexico State 0
Kellen Moore threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns, leading 11th-ranked Boise State to a 49-0 Western Athletic Conference blowout of New Mexico State. Kyle Wilson returned a punt 71 yards for a score for the Broncos (8-0, 4-0 WAC), who moved to 9-0 all-time against the Aggies. Moore completed 15-of-23 passes and was picked off once. Jeremy Childs had five catches for 84 yards and a pair of TDs, while Ian Johnson, D.J. Harper and Jeremy Avery added scoring runs. Chase Holbrook connected on 12-of-20 passes for 64 yards and was picked off once for the Aggies (3-5, 1-3), who have lost three straight games.

(12) TCU 44, UNLV 14
Andy Dalton threw three touchdowns as the TCU Horned Frogs remained perfect on the season in conference play with a 44-14 drubbing of the UNLV Rebels in a Mountain West Conference mismatch. Dalton compiled 151 yards passing on 16-of-29 throws while adding 52 yards on the ground for TCU (9-1, 6-0 MWC), which has won five in a row since its only loss at Oklahoma. Aaron Brown and Jai Cavness each had touchdowns in addition to 60 and 51 rushing yards, respectively, for the victors. Omar Clayton was a woeful 5-of-13 through the air for a measly 45 yards with a touchdown and an interception for UNLV (3-6, 0-5), which has dropped five straight since starting the season 3-1. The Horned Frogs outgained the hosts 410-175.

#13 Ohio State, idle

(14) Missouri 31, Baylor 28
Jeff Wolfert kicked a 34-yard field goal with 2:31 left in the fourth quarter as 14th-ranked Missouri avoided the upset and edged Baylor, 31-28, in Big 12 play at Floyd Casey Stadium. Heisman Trophy hopeful Chase Daniel completed 30-of-38 passes for 318 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for Missouri (7-2, 3-2 Big 12), which has won two straight games after dropping the previous two. Derrick Washington led the Missouri ground attack with 97 yards on 14 carries, while Jimmy Jackson added a rushing score. Chase Coffman caught 10 passes for 75 yards with a pair of touchdowns, while Tommy Saunders had seven grabs for 109 yards in the win for the Tigers. Robert Griffin turned in a solid performance, completing 26- of-35 for 283 yards with two touchdowns and a pick for Baylor (3-6, 1-4), losers of three straight and five of its last six. Griffin also ran for a score. Jay Finley had 73 yards on the ground, while Ray Sims chipped in with a TD run for the Bears.

(15) LSU 35, Tulane 10
Charles Scott ran for 114 yards and scored a touchdown on just 12 carries as the 15th-ranked LSU Tigers posted a 35-10 victory over the Tulane Green Wave at Tiger Stadium. Jarrett Lee was 8- for-20 on pass attempts for 99 yards with a TD strike to Brandon LaFell, who finished with three catches for 48 yards. Keiland Williams and Stevan Ridley both scored rushing touchdowns for LSU (6-2), which returns to conference play next Saturday with a heavyweight SEC West battle against second-ranked Alabama. The Crimson Tide and Tigers are 1-2, respectively, in the West standings. The Tigers began a string of five straight home games with last Saturday's crushing defeat, 52-38, to then ninth-ranked Georgia, sending the defending national champions to their second loss in three games at the time. Kevin Moore and Joe Kemp split time under center for Tulane with Moore completing 6-of-11 passes for 44 yards and Kemp hitting on 5-of-12 throws for 40 yards in the loss. Travis Burks provided the only fireworks with a 43-yard interception return for a score for Tulane (2-6), which has lost four in a row and 17 straight meetings in the series. The Tigers overwhelmed the Green Wave with 330 yards of total offense to 163 for Tulane.

Georgia Tech 31, (16) Florida State 28
Jonathan Dwyer rushed for 145 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Georgia Tech survived a late scare and the loss of its starting quarterback to upend 16th-ranked Florida State, 31-28, at Dodd Stadium. Josh Nesbitt rushed 14 times for 61 yards and completed 4-of-5 passes for 55 yards before leaving the game with an injury for the Yellow Jackets (7-2, 4-2 ACC), who have won four of their last five games and beat Florida State for the first time since 1975. In addition, with Virginia's 24-17 home loss to Miami-Florida, Georgia Tech now has sole possession of first place in the Coastal Division. Lucas Cox and Greg Smith recorded rushing TDs, while freshman backup quarterback Jaybo Shaw was shaky, throwing an interception on his lone pass attempt and losing a fumble. Christian Ponder completed 16-of-27 passes for 149 yards, one score and a pick for the Seminoles (6-2, 3-2), whose four-game win streak came to an end. Ponder also ran for a score, and Jermaine Thomas gained 130 yards on just nine attempts. Preston Parker caught five balls for 77 yards and a late touchdown.

(17) BYU 45, Colorado State 42
Max Hall completed a 17-yard touchdown pass to Dennis Pitta with 22 seconds remaining in the game, and 17th-ranked BYU escaped with a 45-42 win over Colorado State. Hall completed 28-of-35 passes for 389 yards, with five touchdowns and one interception for the Cougars (8-1, 4-1 MWC), who have won two games in a row since a 32-7 setback to TCU on October 16. Harvey Unga rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown, while Pitta finished with 175 yards and two scores on 12 receptions. Austin Collie caught nine balls for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Billy Farris connected on 18-of-35 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams (4-5, 2-3), who have dropped three of their last four outings. Dion Morton had 129 yards on six receptions, including two scores, and Gartrell Johnson added a rushing touchdown.

#18 Ball State, idle

Arkansas 30, (19) Tulsa 23
Dennis Johnson returned a kickoff 96 yards for the go-ahead touchdown late in the third quarter and Arkansas withstood a late Tulsa drive to pull off a 30-23 victory over the 19th-ranked and previously unbeaten Golden Hurricane at Razorback Stadium. Casey Dick completed 25-of-38 passes for a career-high 385 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Arkansas (4-5), which snapped a two-game losing streak and won for just the second time in its last seven games. The last two Razorback losses came by a combined three points. David Johnson threw for 322 yards with a touchdown and an interception while completing 17- of-31 passes for Tulsa (8-1), which was held to its lowest point total of the season by far. The Golden Hurricane's previous lowest scoring game was a 37-31 win at SMU on October 11.

Northwestern 24, (20) Minnesota 17
Brendan Smith returned an interception 48 yards for the winning score with 12 seconds to play, lifting Northwestern to a 24-17 victory over 20th-ranked Minnesota at the Metrodome. Minnesota had the ball in the final minute of the fourth quarter and tried to drive toward a field goal. However, Gopher quarterback Adam Weber had a pass tipped by receiver Eric Decker at the Minnesota 40 and the ball caromed off Northwestern's David Oredugba before going into the hands of Smith, who raced down the left sideline and got a couple of key blocks before winding his way to the end zone. Minnesota's last attempt with a lateral after a reception was fumbled as time expired. The interception spoiled a solid day for Weber, who completed 31-of-51 passes for 327 yards with a touchdown. He also ran for 53 yards in defeat, as the Gophers (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) had a three-game winning streak stopped and saw their slim hopes for a share of the Big Ten title slip away. Mike Kafka did it all for Northwestern in place of the injured C.J. Bacher, running for 217 yards -- a school record for quarterbacks -- on 27 carries while throwing for 143 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 12-of-16 passing. The Wildcats (7-2, 3-2) have won two of their last three.

#21 N. Carolina, idle

(22) Michigan State 25, Wisconsin 24
Brett Swenson nailed a 44-yard field goal with seven seconds left in the contest to give No. 22 Michigan State a hard- fought 25-24 victory over Wisconsin. Swenson kicked four field goals for Michigan State (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten), including a career-best from 50 yards out. Javon Ringer rushed for a season-low 58 yards, but did have two touchdowns. John Clay rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown for Wisconsin (4-5, 1-5), while P.J. Hill gained 106 yards on 20 carries with a score in a losing effort. Quarterback Dustin Sherer finished 14-of-28 for 149 yards and a touchdown.

California 26, (23) Oregon 16
Nate Longshore threw for 136 yards and one touchdown on 13-of-27 passing, as the California Golden Bears notched a 26-16 win over 23rd-ranked Oregon in sloppy conditions at Memorial Stadium. Longshore came into the game for starter Kevin Riley, who left after getting shaken up on a hit in the first quarter. Riley was 7-for-12 for 80 yards, with one TD and interception each for the Bears (6-2, 4-1 Pac-10), who have won four of five. Jahvid Best ran for 93 yards on 16 attempts, while Shane Vereen had 61 yards and a TD on 21 rushes for Cal. Nyan Boateng and Jeremy Ross each had a touchdown reception. Jeremiah Johnson led a stout Oregon rushing attack with 117 yards and one TD on 20 carries, while Jeremiah Masoli ran for 97 yards and a score on 21 attempts. But Masoli passed for just 44 yards, completing only seven of his 21 attempts, and was intercepted twice for the Ducks (6-3, 4-2), who had won two in a row. Justin Roper also handled quarterbacking duties for Oregon, but was successful on just 4-of-11 passes for 40 yards.

Cincinnati 24, (24) South Florida 10
Tony Pike threw two touchdown passes and John Goebel had 121 total yards of offense and a score as the Cincinnati Bearcats toppled the 24th-ranked South Florida Bulls, 24-10
