Final Score: (16) Oklahoma State 33, Missouri 17

Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Zac Robinson tallied 227 yards and a touchdown on 22-of-35 passing to lead No. 16 Oklahoma State past Missouri, 33-17, in a Big 12 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Hubert Anyiam, filling in for the ineligible Dez Bryant, finished with a career-best 119 yards and a score on 10 catches for the Cowboys (5-1, 2-0 Big 12), who have won four in a row. Keith Toston added 87 yards rushing and a TD on 24 touches.

"Hubert's done a nice job for us stepping in for Dez (Bryant)," said Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. "We learned a good lesson in the fact that you never know what a young man will do when he's presented the opportunity. When you have players that aren't available to you on a Saturday, it's an opportunity for another player to step up and make some plays. We've had a number of guys do that in the last three or four weeks."

Blaine Gabbert threw for 325 yards and a touchdown but was intercepted a career-worst three times on 22-of-44 efficiency for the Tigers (4-2, 0-2), who dropped their second straight game after losing to Nebraska last weekend. Derrick Washington had a rushing TD, while Danario Alexander amassed a career-high 180 yards and a touchdown on nine grabs.

"That (career night) means nothing. It's all about the win," said Alexander. "It doesn't matter if I get catches, we just need to get the win."

Trailing by 10 late in the third quarter, Missouri started at its own 14-yard line. Gabbert completed passes on the first two plays for a first down, but the team failed to move the chains any further and the Cowboys got the ball back.

Oklahoma State took over at its own 42 for a trek that bridged the final two quarters. The team moved the ball all the way to the Tigers 29, but a delay of game moved the ball back five yards and the Cowboys settled for a 51-yard field goal that made it 30-17.

Jasper Simmons fumbled the ensuing kickoff and OSU recovered, which led to Dan Bailey's 36-yard field goal that accounted for the final margin.

Both teams scored on their first possession. Grant Ressel hit a 21-yard field goal for the Tigers and Oklahoma State responded with a 79-yard drive that culminated with Toston's 11-yard TD dash, and it was 7-3 in favor of the Cowboys.

Mizzou then got the ball back late in the first and embarked on a drive that bridged the first two quarters. Starting at their own three-yard line, Gabbert led a 97-yard scoring trek and Washington trotted in a one-yard score to give the visitors a 10-7 edge.

Gabbert was picked off later in the second and Lucien Antoine took it 26 yards to paydirt to give the Cowboys a 14-10 lead.

"They were pretty big," said Antoine. "Our mindset coming into the game was to be more physical and tackle better. We did miss a couple of tackles. Our goal was to stop them, be more physical and get turnovers. At half time, the coaches told us to keep our composure and play ball and then we would come up with a lot of turnovers."

Alexander, though, caught a 48-yard TD pass on the next Tigers possession to make it 17-14 in favor of Missouri.

Bailey's 39-yard field goal tied it up late in the half, but Anyiam had an eight-yard TD reception in the waning seconds to make it 24-17 OSU at the break.

Neither team could manage a first down in the early stages of the third stanza, until Oklahoma State got the ball at the Missouri 49 with just under nine minutes showing on the clock. The Cowboys drove all the way down to the nine-yard line, where the drive stalled. Bailey then knocked a 26-yard field goal through the uprights to give the home team a 27-17 advantage.

Each team had 16 first downs...Bailey's 51-yard field goal was a career- long...Cowboys starting running back Kendall Hunter was not in uniform for the fourth straight game with a sprained right ankle...Despite the loss, Missouri still holds a 28-22 advantage in the all-time series, but it's been the Cowboys who have won three of the last four s.
