Colt McCoy directed a pair of fourth-quarter drives that ended in short scoring runs by Cody Johnson, as fifth-ranked Texas captured the 103rd edition of the Red River Rivalry with a 45-35 victory over No. 1 Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl.

Zac Robinson threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score as the No. 17 Oklahoma State Cowboys knocked off third-ranked Missouri, 28-23, in a pivotal cross-divisional clash with both Big 12 and national championship implications. Robinson was 19-of-28 passing for 215 yards with an interception, and Kendall Hunter ran for 154 yards, including a 68-yard TD, on 24 attempts for Oklahoma State.

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow threw for 210 yards with two touchdown tosses to Percy Harvin, as the 11th- ranked Florida Gators annihilated the No. 4 LSU Tigers, 51-21, in a highly anticipated SEC battle.

Daryll Clark threw for 244 yards and one touchdown, and ran for two more scores, as sixth-ranked Penn State dominated Wisconsin, 48-7, at Camp Randall Stadium. Clark completed 16-of-25 passes and was also intercepted once for the Nittany Lions.

Eric Morris' one-yard touchdown run in overtime gave Texas Tech the lead, and Jamar Wall's interception sealed the 37-31 win for the seventh-ranked Red Raiders over Nebraska. Graham Harrell completed 20-of-25 passes for 284 yards and two scores for Texas Tech.

oe McKnight rushed for a career-high 143 yards on 11 carries, as eighth-ranked Southern Cal shut down Arizona State, 28-0, at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Mark Sanchez had a subpar day under center, completing only 13-of-26 passes for 179 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions for the Trojans.

Max Hall threw three touchdown passes, including a pair to Andrew George, as No. 9 BYU knocked off New Mexico, 21-3, at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Matthew Stafford threw for 310 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions as the 10th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs downed the Tennessee Volunteers, 26-14, in a SEC battle at Sanford Stadium. Knowshon Moreno had 101 yards on 27 carries while Mohamed Massaquoi hauled in five catches for 103 yards and a score for the Bulldogs.

Etienne Sabino scored the only touchdown of the game on a blocked punt, as the 12th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes defeated Purdue, 16-3, at Ohio Stadium.
Mississippi State 17, (13) Vanderbilt 14
Anthony Dixon rushed for 107 yards while Tyson Lee threw a touchdown as the Mississippi State Bulldogs downed 13th- ranked Vanderbilt, 17-14, at Scott Field. Lee threw for just 81 yards on 12-of-22 passing while Christian Ducre had eight carries for 40 yards and a score for the Bulldogs.
(14) Utah 40, Wyoming 7
Despite an average day by its offense, 14th- ranked Utah picked up a defensive score and two special teams touchdowns on its way to a 40-7 blowout win over Wyoming. Brian Johnson completed 10-of-19 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Utes.
(15) Boise State 24, Southern Mississippi 7
Kellen Moore garnered 170 yards on 21-of-30 passing with three touchdowns and an interception, as No. 15 Boise State crushed Southern Mississippi, 24-7. Austin Pettis had four catches for 30 yards, but two of them went for scores for the Broncos.

Jake Sharp rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries, as the 16th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks held off a pesky Colorado squad 30-14. Todd Reesing completed 27-of-34 passes for 256 yards and one touchdown for Kansas.

Michael Smith ran for 176 yards on 34 carries, including a 63-yard touchdown run in the fourth that proved to be the game- winning score, as Arkansas upended 20th-ranked Auburn, 25-22, at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Casey Dick threw for 222 yards on 17-of-32 passing and was intercepted twice, but ran for a score as the Razorbacks.

Riley Skinner threw for 186 yards and a touchdown on 22-of-34 passing, and also added 73 yards on the ground, to lead No. 21 Wake Forest to a 12-7 victory over Clemson in an ACC clash.

Quan Sturdivant highlighted an outstanding second half for North Carolina's defensive unit with an interception return for a touchdown, as the 22nd-ranked Tar Heels topped the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 29-24
(23) Michigan State 37, Northwestern 20
Javon Ringer ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries to lead 23rd-ranked Michigan State to a 37-20 win over Big Ten rival Northwestern. Brian Hoyer passed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on 14-of-20 passing for the Spartans.
