Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Sam Bradford completed 29-of-38 passes for a career-high 395 yards with five touchdowns, also overcoming two interceptions, as the fourth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners walloped the Cincinnati Bearcats, 52-26.

DeMarco Murray rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown for the Sooners (2-0), while Chris Brown added 71 yards on the ground and one score. Ryan Broyles caught seven passes for 141 yards and a touchdown. Jermai Gresham added seven grabs for 93 yards and two scores as the Sooners extended the nation's longest home winning streak to 20 games.

"The guys really executed well," Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said. "I thought Sam threw the ball incredibly well and the receivers did a great job. Defensively, let's face it, these guys have racked up a bunch of points on a lot of people and the defense only gives up two touchdowns. That's pretty good. The only bad part was kickoff cover. Everything else was solid, and we'll keep working that to get better. It's one of those issues early in the season that you have to iron out."

Cincinnati quarterback Dustin Grutza completed 19-of-29 passes for 218 yards with a touchdown and an interception before he was wheeled off the field with a fractured right fibula in the fourth quarter. Mardy Gilyard had seven receptions for 119 yards for the Bearcats (1-1). He also returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.

"My hats off to Oklahoma. I thought that their play in the second half was extremely impressive," Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly said. "It was impressive, especially offensively in the second half."

Oklahoma took the opening kickoff from its own 12 and Bradford capped the seven-play series with a 27-yard strike to Broyles. The Sooners got the ball back after a punt and marched 62 yards on eight plays for another score. Bradford hit Gresham in the flat and he turned it into a 10-yard touchdown to increase the advantage to 14-0 with 8:26 to play in the opening quarter.

After Oklahoma turned the ball over, Grutza directed Cincinnati on a 10-play, 82-yard drive that extended into the second stanza, and his one-yard plunge cut the lead to 14-7 with 12:43 on the clock.

The Sooners responded on their next possession, and Brown's one-yard TD run made it a 21-7 game with 10:50 to go in the frame.

Following another Bradford interception, the Bearcats trimmed the deficit when Grutza found Dominick Goodman wide open in the corner of the end zone for a 14-yard score with 2:16 remaining before halftime. Cincinnati trailed 21-13 after Brandon Yingling missed the extra point.

Oklahoma added to its lead in the third quarter. A perfectly executed hitch- and-go resulted in a Juaquin Iglesias 16-yard TD, but Cincinnati showed its poise as Gilyard returned the ensuing kickoff 97 yards for a score. Murray's 11-yard TD pushed the Oklahoma lead to 35-20 with five minutes remaining in the third.

Facing a 4th-and-7, the Bearcats opted to go for the first down, but Kevin's Huber's pass fell incomplete. Oklahoma needed just one play to find the end zone. Bradford hooked up with Gresham over the middle and he bowled over a defender on his way to the 22-yard score. Bradford's fourth touchdown pass gave the Sooners a commanding 42-20 advantage with 3:30 left in the third.

In the final quarter, Jimmy Stevens kicked a 36-yard field goal and Bradford threw a two-yard TD pass to Matt Clapp for a 52-20 margin.

Earlier in the fourth, Grutza broke his leg after being sacked by a host of defenders.

The Bearcats got a one-yard touchdown run from Scott Johnson as time expired, but failed on the two-point conversion.

Game Notes

This marked the first-ever meeting between these two programs on the gridiron...Oklahoma improved to 19-4-1 against Big East foes all- time...Stoops posted his 99th win at Oklahoma...Oklahoma's 30 first downs were the most since netting 33 in a victory over Texas A&M in 2003.
