Six teams receive postseason bids, highlighted by Stanford and UCLA earning trips to the NCAA Tournament to compete for the national championship. Successfully defending it's Pac-10 title for the fourth-straight year, the Cardinal are the top seed in the Sacramento Regional, its first No. 1 seed since 1998. The Bruins make a return trip to the Big Dance for the first time since 2006 and are the No. 8 seed in the Kansas City Regional. All games of the tournament can be watched on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, EPSN2, ESPNU and ESPN360).

Two Pac-10 Women's Basketball teams earned trips to the 2010 Division I NCAA Tournament, the NCAA Women's Basketball Selection Committee announced today with the release of the 64-team field. Second-ranked Stanford makes its 23rd-consecutive appearance in the postseason event, while 22nd-ranked UCLA makes its first return to the "Big Dance" since 2006.

    In a vote of the league's 10 head coaches, STANFORD sophomore Nnemkadi Ogwumike was voted the Pac-10 Player of the Year, the third-straight Cardinal to win the honor, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. Commissioner Scott also announced that ARIZONA's Davellyn Whyte was honored as the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, while USC sophomore Briana Gilbreath and STANFORD senior Rosalyn Gold-Onwude were named the Pac-10 Co-Defensive Player of the Year honor. Also honored was UCLA head coach Nikki Caldwell who was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year by her league peers.

    With the regular season officially over, Pac-10 teams turn their attention to the 2010 State Farm Pac-10 Tournament held in Los Angeles, Calif., March 11-14. Stanford has clinched the top seed in the tournament for the ninth-straight year, winning the regular-season crown for the 18th time overall. UCLA earned the No. 2 seed after winning a program-tying 15 league games, and USC is the third seed, its best seeding since 2004.

    In a vote of the league's 10 10 head coaches, among the 15 players named to the All-Pac-10 team were three-time honorees SR C Jayne Appel and SR G Alexis Gray-Lawson, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. Also announced was the All-Freshman team and All-Defensive team.
