With the non-conference slate starting to wind down, three ACC schools picked up victories on Tuesday, including a pair over SEC schools. No. 11 Clemson remained undefeated as it beat Alabama, 66-59. Georgia Tech rallied to beat in-state rival Georgia, 67-62, and Virginia won easily, 74-50, versus Brown.

    Two thirds of the league's teams were in action on Saturday and five of them came away victorious. Wake Forest ended the nation's longest home court winning streak by beating BYU, 94-87. Clemson - 76-66 over East Carolina - and Maryland - 85-75 versus Charlotte - won close contests, while in the Sunshine State, Florida State blew out Texas A&M Corpus Christi, 69-48, and Miami trounced North Carolina Central, 76-42.

Jamil Tucker hit a three-pointer to send the bout between Virginia and Georgia Tech to overtime then Calvin Baker hit the eventual winning basket with 10 seconds remaining in the extra frame to lift Virginia to the 88-84 victory. Outside league action, No. 1 North Carolina rolled Rutgers, 97-75, and Florida State topped Western Kentucky, 82-69.
